The diagram to the left should help you in taking measurements. The lengths, Sleeve, back length and shoulder width can be taken off an existing jacket or vest sometimes it is easier. You can always add or subtract from the lengths if needed.
On the form you have a choice for the back length and hip measurement at that length. This will be based on whether you are using this piece for a short bolero, a waist length vest, longer vest or for showmanship.
#10 is the back length for your piece. I only need one of these filled out, not all of them. Do keep in mind that at the length you choose that will be your hip measurment. Measure around at this point. If your item is a Bolero vest Your waist measurement will be taken around at the final length. If it is a SMS Jacket and the back length will be as long as 10E than please add all hip measurments 7,8 & 9.
